Shabushi restaurant is a fusion Japanese buffet restaurant located in Bangkok. It is a chain restaurant which means there are several locations in the city. The location that I usually go is located in the center of Bangkok. There are many reasons to make me love this restaurant, such as atmosphere, staffs and foods.
This restaurant is inside a gigantic shopping mall, Central World. From the front to the back, the decoration looks simply fine and stylish. It doesn’t look traditional Japanese style, but modern and decent. It is pretty clean and you will rarely see trash on the floor because staffs there always keep the restaurant as clean as possible. The restaurant is always busy with all kinds of customers enjoying the foods and talking to each other.
Staffs are friendly and professional. Once you walk into the restaurant, the host will greet you with a warm welcome and walk you to the table. If you are by yourself or with a friend. They will bring you to the bar. Servers are nice and always ready to serve you whenever needed. Even though, it is all you can eat, but you will be helped when you ask.
Foods are vary depending on what you would like to eat. This restaurant is serving foods differently. You will have your own pot with boiled broth and you just grab the fresh stuff in front of you including vegetable, meats and seafood. They are on tiny plates separately running on the track. Once you see what you like, you just grab them and put them in the pot. Now you will know whether you are good at cooking! I usually put everything in the pot and eat it all. In addition, Japanese food corner is just right behind the tables. You can grab some fresh sushi and tempura as much as you want. There are also several kinds of drinks that you can refill at all times.
Above all, the thing that is different from other restaurant is that you can cook what you really like within two hours eating time. The price is very decent. As of last time that I went there, it was approximately $10 for everything. Nevertheless, you will just love this place if you ever give it a try once in your life.
